Jeanette works with Botley School, Appleton Primary School, North Hinksey Primary School and Matthew Arnold Secondary School

Normal working hours: Tuesday  - Thursday 10am – 4pm and Fridays 10am – 2.30pm

The Home School Community Link Workers will work with families who are experiencing difficulties to support children and young people and help them to take advantage of all the educational opportunities available to them. If you would like support from the Home School Community Link Workers either contact your child’s class teacher or contact Rachel or Jeanette directly (your child must attend one of the following schools: Appleton Primary School, Botley School, Cumnor Primary School, Matthew Arnold School, North Hinksey Primary School, St Swithuns Primary School or West Oxford Primary School).  

They can offer support with the following:

• The challenges of being a parent/carer
• Attending meetings with parents/carers about their child/ children
• Support for families where there are difficulties such as separation or divorce
• Supporting parents and children with transitions: starting school or move to  secondary school
• Help with filling in forms
• Help with accessing other agencies
• Common Assessment Framework and the Team Around the Child Process
